Nima Arkani-Hamed
His revolutionary ideas about the way the universe works will
finally be put to the test this year at Switzerland's Large Hadron Collider,
which will be the world's most powerful particle accelerator.
The accelerator, estimated to cost between $5 billion and $10
billion, could provide answers to questions physicists have had for decades.
Thousands of scientists from around the world are collaborating on the project
at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN.
If the results confirm
any of Arkani-Hamed's predictions, they would be the first extension of our
notions of space-time since Albert Einstein. -

Firooz Naderi
"His wake-up call came when he was named to
head NASA's Mars Exploration Program. A news release was sent to him for
approval, with question marks asking whether he wanted to include the fact that
he had been born in Iran.
"It hurts me to think I would not be self-confident enough to
say I am an Iranian American," said Naderi." - Washington Post

Dr. Bijan Vasigh
Because of my personal interest in tracing and
learning about
internationally recognized Iranian in the field of aviation and airline industry, I have had the
pleasure of knowing
Dr. Bijan Vasigh for a relatively long time. He is a professor of
Economics and Finance at the Department of Aviation
Business Administration at Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University in Florida as well as Managing Director of the
Aviation Consulting Group, LLC. He has several aviation related books,
numerous articles, presentations, seminars and continuously make speeches at
most industry conferences and conventions. e
As an Iranian, I always took
pride in Dr. Vasigh's position in the aviation world, however, today when I saw
the Newsweek interview with him in regard to one of historical issues of today's
aviation, the Delta-Northwest merger and read
his professional and insightful views, I even felt prouder of him. Please read
his experts views in his Newsweek
interview here.
